I’ve seen this book by Colleen Hoover ALLLLLL over the Internet. Finally gave it read and it was not at all what I expected but I loved it! It Ends With Us really draws you in from the very beginning and does not end at all how you thought it would HOWEVER I LOVED AND APPRECIATED THE ENDING. THANK YOU COLLEEN HOOVER. I read this one real quick and it’s definitely a good summer read.
Rating: 4.5/5 stars. Couldn’t give it 5. I’m not a fan of unnecessary language and there were a few parts that were too rated R for me, but overall a great book.
Summary: Right after Lily leaves her father’s funeral, she meets Ryle Kincaid on an apartment rooftop. He’s a gorgeous stranger that happens to be a neurosurgeon and is called in for work shortly after they meet. Lily plans on never seeing Ryle again, but then begins a series of unavoidable run-ins with each other. Ryle has a strict no-dating rule, but finds himself bending the rules for Lily. Lily finds herself thinking of her first love, Atlas Corrigan. A guy that she went to high school with that was homeless. Atlas all of a sudden reappears and ya know that’s about as much as I can give you without giving away the big parts of this wild story! (Also, doesn’t she give her characters the most perfect names? Atlas Corrigan? Ryle Kincaid? They’re all such dreamy names.)
