I wrote a couple days for FBC Tifton’s Advent Devo and wanted to share the devo on here. Here’s what I wrote for 11/30!

Romans 1:16-17
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.”
The word “gospel” means good news. God brings to us salvation through His son dying on the cross for our sins. And in a world that is deeply divided, I think it’s important to highlight that God brings salvation to everyone who believes. Yes, even your Facebook friend who you disagree with on politics and the girl who bullied you and the father you don’t speak to anymore. He extends them grace if they place their faith in Him.
The way we live our lives is a reflection of the gospel. What are you reflecting by how you live? And more importantly, who are you reflecting by how you live? Extend yourself grace today and walk freely in the gift God has given us. Your life may be the only Bible someone ever reads.
Prayer: Thank you Lord for giving me new life. I am not ashamed of who You are, and I pray that those I encounter daily will see You in me. I praise You for the ways You work in and through me, and I hope I choose You over myself each and every day. I love You Lord.
